Hartfield Wild Pools is a joint venture between East Sussex based contractor and architectural designer, each with 25 years building experience.
We draw on our respective resources to design and implement wild pools either from scratch or by converting existing swimming pools.
Alex is the contractor. Alexander Campbell-Lloyd has been Director of AMLYbuild (https://amly.co.uk) for the last 20 years, delivering high-quality building, decoration and bespoke finish projects across London and the South East.
Oliver is the architect, with a line also in Landscape Art (https://www.operceval.co.uk), and is show secretary for the Colemans Hatch Horticultural Society - which gives a hint to his enthusiasm for natural and land based projects as well as buildings. He has been Director of Oliver Perceval Architects (http://www.coherent-architecture.co.uk) for the last 22 years.

Through AMLYbuild, Alexander has built a reputation for careful project management, refined detailing and a practical understanding of how homes and landscapes should work together. His experience spans private homes, estates, restoration works, bespoke joinery, specialist finishes and client-side project oversight.
His interest in Hartfield Wild Pools comes from a natural extension of this work: creating beautiful, enduring spaces that improve the way people live. Wild swimming pools combine craftsmanship, landscape sensitivity and wellbeing, offering a more natural and sympathetic alternative to conventional pool construction.
Alexander is particularly interested in helping clients deliver pools that feel settled within their surroundings, are carefully managed from concept to completion, and become a lasting part of the home and garden.
